|Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Rebecca Cabage inherited her first camera at the age of ten when her father passed away; it was the only item of his she was given. She has been photographing and working in the dark room ever since. Rebecca went on to graduate with a BFA in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.|
Rebecca moved to Los Angeles in 2000. Her heartfelt images have exhibited at numerous galleries and shows throughout the city including MOPLA, AFTA, Create Fixate, The Duncan Miller Gallery, and the Art Mere/Art Pere auction where her work has benefitted the Livestrong Foundation.
In addition to working for clients such as Honda/Acura via Genex, Rebecca is The Director of Bookings at Los Angeles’ preeminent photography studio, Smashbox, where she is responsible for managing high powered celebrity clientele and keeping all stages full.
With her father’s memory as an inspirational force in her work, Rebecca continues her capture. She is currently working on her first book, “The Salton Sea” and her innovative images and stories of travel titled “Diary” are continually evolving on her blog.
Rebecca is a supporting member of bluearth.org, who's mission is to raise awareness about endangered cultures, threatened environments and social concerns through photography.
