    RULES FOR A KNIGHT

So down to earth these two....

They traveled the country just the two of them, no agent or publicist, to share Ethan's new book "Rules for a Knight". This stop, Powell's books in Portland, Oregon, was one of the many stops for them accross the country to independant and large bookstores giving talks and sharing stories of his experiences on set and in life in general.

ATMOSPHERE OF HOPE - TIM FLANNERY

Tim Flannery, an enviromentalist, palaeontologistmammalogist, and global warming activist. It was an opportunity of a lifetime to get to photograph and sit down and talk with Tim about our current state of global warming, COP21 in Paris (which he was heading to shortly after the book signing) and many of the solutions that he has outlinned in his new book Atmoshpere of Hope.

  • The Thacher School

    The Thacher School

I had an amazing time working with Thacher and Charlie Hess (Art Director) on the Spring 2015 issue for The Thacher School. All of the students were so respectful and seemed to be way ahead of their time. On the day that the students arrive, they are all assigned a horse to care for. The horse is 100% in their care for feedings, exercise, grooming etc...what a great way for the students to learn about how to be responsible not only for themselves but for another living being.

Another favorite of mine is that the school has an area on campus with apiaries where the students learn how to be beekeepers along with the importance of honeybees for pollination. They also have yoga classes and pottery classes, hiking trails and an obeservatory.

At the end of this shoot, I just wanted to be a kid again so that I can go to The Thacher School!
